The Church of St. Michael the Archangel (13th century)

It is a grim and majestic Romanesque collegiate church built by two architects, Binello and Rodolfo, in 1210.

The church has been repeatedly restored over the centuries, indeed the interior underwent a purist renovation in the mid-twentieth century to eliminate all of its Baroque decorations. The Spetia Chapel and its crypt were outstanding. The first one was frescoed in the 1600s by Andrea Camassei. There is also a beautiful gold and silver statue dated 1638 representing St. Vincent.
