Between the end of August and the beginning of September, August September Gualdese is the event that animates the alleys and squares of Gualdo Cattaneo, thanks to traveling shows, medieval games, musicians and challenges in which the districts of the town will participate: Contrada del Monte, Contrada della Pieve and Contrada della Rocca. The Contrade will face each other in various challenges, including the scenic preparation of the “Chariot” and the eagerly awaited climbing. During the Historical Procession the figures of the Contrade, illustrious characters, musicians, dancers and jesters parade in order to offer an incredible and exciting show. the event offers the opportunity to savor delicious traditional local dishes and taste local wines.
