Sagra del Picchiarello a Colpetrazzo
Summer in Massa Martana

The small village of Colpetrazzo, a hamlet of Massa Martana inhabited by around 200 citizens, was born as a castle between the end of the 1300s and the early 1400s, still maintaining its medieval structure today. In the second half of August, Colpetrazzo hosts the Sagra del Picchiarello, a gastronomic event which offers the typical dish of bagnarelli, a long fresh pasta typical of this area. During the festival it is possible to taste them with many different condiments, from wild asparagus to chanterelles.
