Sanctuary of Madonna della Bruna
In the small hamlet of La Bruna, grown at the crossroads of the main roads in the area, stands the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Bruna, a Renaissance jewel built on the bank of the Tatarena torrent, with a single nave and central plan crowned by three apses.
The Sanctuary of the Madonna is of Bramantean inspiration with a fresco attributed to Tiberio di Assisi.
Above the main altar is the painted image of the Madonna della Bruna, so called because of the complexion of her face, a fresco attributed to Tiberio Diotallevi of Assisi. On either side of the altar are two sculpted coats of arms, one of the Comune and one of the Medici.
