Trocco del lupo
In the surroundings of San Terenziano, you can have a pleasant walk through the woods of Monte Pelato, a place full of flowers and trees, which leads to the so-called Trocco del Lupo.
We are in a place full of water, so it is easy to find caves and sinkholes or polished stones along the way thanks to climate factors. Local legends and folklore have handed down curious and fascinating stories related to these places; one of these is about Trocco del Lupo: it is a large concave stone that collects rainwater and according to a local legend it was called this way because it was supposed to quench the wolves’ thirst.
